Tyaisha Powell was born in Indianapolis, Indiana where she attended Indiana Public schools. She started with KinderCare in October of 2007. The majority of her previous experience Is through volunteering at Friendship Missionary Baptish Church and Jireh Sports.
Ms. Fannie is our Assistand Director. She attended the University of Southern Indiana to pursue a degree in social work. She received her Child Development Associate's Credential from Rasmussen College in 2013 and is currently receiving her Degree in Child Development with a specialization in Child and Family Studies. Ms Fannie's first priority is to make sure the children in the entire building is safe and healthy. She does this by doing monthly fire drills and going around the building inside and out to make sure things are safe. Another thing that brightens her day is her students, she loves coming into the classroom and receiving hugs and smiles. In Ms. Fannie Learning Adventures class, the kids will learn in music, math, phonics and all of the developmental domains while being developmentally appropriate
Ms. Gloria is a wife, mother of four and grandmother of three, so she knows the importance of early childhood learning. Her experience in Early Childhood Education is over fifteen years. Ms. Gloria was a volunteer at her church in the children's ministry. During that time she received a teaching certificate. After starting her career at Kinder Care she enrolled in the Early Childhood Development course. She received her Child Development Associate's Credential in 2012. Ms. Gloria's class is unique because she likes to create learning tools from recyclable items. She feels that being able to have children explore with different things encourages all areas of developmental growth.
Ms. Mona moved from Saudi Arabia in 1976 to New York and from New York she moved to Indianapolis Indiana in 1987 where she has been living now for over 20 years. Before Ms. Mona started working for KinderCare, she got most of her experience with working with young children by raising her own, then she started watching and teaching children from home.
Ms. Judeia is the Preschool A teacher. She loves that her class gives her one on one time with her students. Ms. Judeia loves to bring out different personalities of her students in the Preschool A classroom. She studied education at Indiana State University after graduating from high school.
