Description
Dr. Asamoah is a native of Ghana, Africa. He has lived in the United States since 1995. He received his medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School and completed post-graduate training in general medicine in the UK. He completed a residency at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship at Brown University School of Medicine in Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. Asamoah is board certified in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, and internal medicine. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (London), Fellow of the American College of Physicians, Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology, and a member of the American Thyroid Association and The Endocrine Society. Dr. Asamoah is married to Rose and has three grown children. His hobbies include photography, reading, sports and music. He is actively involved in his local church.
