Description
A Hoosier native, Dr. McClain grew up in the Indianapolis area and graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed her residency training at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Caring for children has always been a passion of Dr. McClain’s. Her areas of particular interest include newborn (and new parent) care, childhood wellness/mental health, and maternal postpartum support. She strives to provide the best medical care while also being a source of comfort and confidence for her patients and their families. Outside of the office, Dr. McClain spends as much time as possible with her husband and two amazing children. She loves how becoming a mom has changed the way she practices medicine and enjoys sharing in the beautiful chaos that comes with raising kids. She has a passion for crafting, reading a good book on the beach, and Indiana University basketball.
