Description
Heather Benson, MD, PhD, completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Indiana University School of Medicine, with a focus on gynecology subspecialties and complex gynecologic surgery. She has studied under the instruction of certified master surgeons with expertise in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She has a special interest in advanced complex robotic surgery, treatment of uterine fibroids and helping African-American women improve their health. In her spare time, she enjoys playing and listening to music, fitness, medical equipment design, and vacationing in Kawaii and Maryland.
