Kate Devine, NP, received a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and East Asian studies from DePauw University. She received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from IUPUI and a master of science in nursing degree from Ball State University. She has served as part of a medical and post-surgical cardiovascular and peripheral vascular unit, as well as in women’s surgery. She has a special interest in the role culture plays on the health and healthcare decisions of groups of people. She also is passionate about high quality primary care, including patient education and prevention strategies. In her spare time, she enjoys trying ethnic foods, hiking, running, and spending time with her husband, two children and dog.
